Worldwide hypertension is emerging public health problem. It is one of the leading causes of permanent disability & mortality. Prof. Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain has morbid desire to serve the humanity from his medical student life.

“Dr. Wasim & Waleda Bahumukhi kallayan Foundation, Rangpur” is one of the foot step towards his long desire, an establishment after his parent’s name, as a sister organization of Dr. Wasim & Waleda Bahumukhi kallayan Foundation Rangpur.
Hypertension and Research Centre, Rangpur started its journey on 14 November 2008.
An executive committee including doctors & local elite persons is leading the activities of both Dr. Wasim & Waleda Bahumukhi kallayan Foundation, Rangpur and Hypertension and Research Center, Rangpur

Cardiology

Cardiology is the study and treatment of disorders of the heart and the blood vessels. A person with heart disease or cardiovascular disease may be referred to a cardiologist. Cardiology is a branch of internal medicine

Medicine

Medicine is the science and practice of caring for a patient and managing the diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, treatment or palliation of their injury or disease.

Neuro Medicine

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous systems, including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle.

Nephrology

The kidneys are two reddish-brown bean-shaped organs found in vertebrates. They are located on the left and right in the retroperitoneal space, and in adult humans are about 12 centimetres (4 1⁄2 inches) in length.[1][2] They receive blood from the paired renal arteries; blood exits into the paired renal veins. Each kidney is attached to a ureter, a tube that carries excreted urine to the bladder.

Rheumatology

A rheumatologist is an internist or pediatrician who received further training in the diagnosis (detection) and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions commonly referred to as rheumatic diseases.

Ophthalmology (Eye)

Ophthalmology is the study of medical conditions relating to the eye. Ophthalmologists are doctors who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of this organ.

Haematology

Haematology is the specialty responsible for the diagnosis and management of a wide range of benign and malignant disorders of the red and white blood cells, platelets and the coagulation system in adults and children. Haematologists care directly for patients on hospital wards and out patient clinics.

Pediatric (Child)

Pediatrics (also spelled Paediatrics) is a branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of infants, children and adolescents. This department comprises of very prominent & distinguished physicians who are dedicated to the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Oncology

Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. These contrast with benign tumors, which do not spread.
